CJ Duncan’s project teams often find themselves deeply involved in recovery efforts following natural disasters given the substantial amount of insurance rebuilding work the company undertakes. CJ Duncan has been involved in the following catastrophe recovery efforts:

• 2011 – Queensland Floods
• 2008 – Mackay Floods
• 2007 – Newcastle Floods
• 1999 – Sydney Hail Storm
• 1989 – Newcastle Earthquake

Most recently, CJ Duncan has been working with leading insurers to help rebuild homes and businesses in Queensland following the significant and widespread flooding in December 2010 to January 2011. A proportion of our profits for 2010-11 will be donated to The Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal which was established to help Queenslanders affected by the recent flooding and Tropical Cyclone Yasi.
